You can't tell from the photo, but the mount on this ring is quite tall and cheaply constructed. It looks like they crimp the stone in place using pliers. For the price, it would be ok for as a random accessory, but I wouldn't give it as a gift.In addition, getting a return authorization was like pulling teeth. I had to email, submit an online form, and finally call and complain before I could get someone to respond to me. It worked out ok in the end, but it was an unnecessary run-around.
