14K White Gold Genuine Marquise Citrine and Diamond Ring Review

I received this ring in October of 2007 and it lasted until about May of 2009, so about a year and half. At that time, I noticed that the citrine in the middle was a little loose. I was worried about it falling out and so I stopped wearing it for a while. However, when I did start to wear it again, the stone fell out and was lost! I distinctly remember looking down and seeing it, only to look at it no longer than 45 minutes later and see that the stone was missing. I was not doing anything rough at the time, merely traveling from one class to another and taking notes. Though I retraced my step, I could not (predictably) find the stone.

In addition to this, I was a little disapointed at the size of the ring. Not the size around- that was quite accurate with the provided sizing chart. However, the actual width of the band is very thin, so unless you have very thin, delicate fingers, I would not suggest purchasing this. I would say I have average sized fingers, but the band definitely looked too small for my fingers. Since the band is so small, the citrine is quite small as well and the diamonds are very hard to see. I don't think that the picture is meant to come off as misleading but if you're thinking about purchasing this it's good to know that it is very thin.
